Field testing our products to the limits has produced the strongest and most durable telescopic aluminum towers in the market today.  Axiom Engineers subject our products to a full scope of comprehensive testing that validates the key parameters of the tower including the deflection, twist, and sway tolerances for each platform.
To further validate the complex dynamics of this loading, we measure using actual loads with lifting cables. This method facilitates the comparison of predicted virtual compressive loads to the actual real-time measured compressive loads and validates the benefits of the patented design. This comprehensive test and validation methodology has set the standard for the tower industry.
We believe in proof beyond any reasonable doubt, that the quality of the system meets the customer's expectations. Breakdown of What Axiom Testing Means:

Structural Analysis is the determination of:

  • The effects of loads, stresses, and strains in structural elements.
  • The displacements, and conditions for strength.
  • The rigidity, and stability of the elements under static and dynamic loads, and temperature effects.
  • The principal objective of structural analysis is to ensure the reliability and durability of structures, provided a cautiously sound expenditure of materials.

What does the testing do?

  • Determines the component or system/subsystem strength by performing structural testing to failure or deformation
  • Identify correlations between the stress range and the number of times it can be applied before causing failure/plastic deformation
  • Validate finite element analysis (FEA) or model predictions
  • Fulfill specific engineering/design requirements
    Support for analytical engineering to develop better granularity in future virtual testing environments

To evaluated characteristics such as: Payload vs. Effective Projected Area vs. Wind Speed (both operational and survival speeds are evaluated).

From this, deflection, twist, and sway, at the top of the tower, are measured. To further understand the extremely complex dynamics of this loading, we measure actual loads in the lifting cables to compare the predicted virtual compressive loads to the actual real-time measured compressive loads3) To prove beyond a reasonable doubt the quality of the assembly.
